Finding Help

PDF  Print  E-mail this to a friend

What do you do when you feel like everyone is 'dumping on you' and you just can't take it anymore. Where do you turn to find help in your area. Please see our 'finding help-state by state' page to get the help you need.

Listed below are places and people where you can go to get help for PND.  There are so many professionals who will be able to help you recover, but you have to be ready to take the first step and understand and admit that you may have PND.

Try to seek help as soon as you notice that you are feeling overwhelmed and like you just can't go on anymore.

People to see/talk to:

  • Family/Friends
  • Local G.P
  • Psychologist
  • Counsellor
  • Public or Private Hospitals
  • Obstetrician
  • Maternal Health Nurse
  • Mothercraft Nurse or Midwife
  • PaNDa (Post & Antenatal Depression Assoc. Inc.)        03 9428 4600

Be Safe, Take One Day At A Time and Good Luck!
